Cedar Creek Falls, our destination in Julian.
Last Saturday I took a hike with a group from church. Orville took us to one of the most beautiful places in southern California that I have ever seen; Cedar Creek Falls just outside of Julian.
Wildflowers were blooming profusely throughout the mountains.
Cedar Creek; wonderfully wild, rugged and beautiful.

It
isn't that bad hiking down to the falls as it is all downhill; you should have seen me hiking back up.....definitely a bit of huffing and puffing going on, but it was worth it!
I sat at the base of the falls and enjoyed my sandwich, the scenery, the rushing water and
new found friends.
